Around The Bend Nature and Discovery Tours

Around The Bend Nature and Discovery Tours

Around the Bend Nature Tour lead local field studies for schools in Manatee and Sarasota counties.  Our programs fully support the primary goal of The Sarasota Bay Estuary Program: restoring the region’s most important natural asset; Sarasota Bay.

Around the Bend Nature Tours has impacted over 53,000 students since 2000 with exciting natural resource-based field trips focusing on human impacts on our watershed. Check out all of our EdExplore listings – there are several available for each grade level!

Through educational field experiences we strive to improve water quality, increase habitat and enhance the area’s natural resources for use, protection and enjoyment by the public. Our curriculum fully supports both Sarasota and Manatee Counties’ Curriculums in Science, Math, Language Arts and Fine Arts.  We also strive to make every experience fit each students’ needs that allow their understanding of our unique environments to lead to long lasting understanding and future applications.
