Nailed It DIY Studio in Sarasota is a “do-it-yourself” woodworking studio (Imaging old shop class). Students will learn to safely use power tools while being guided through the steps to sand, build, paint, design, and create a project with various curriculum tied to each project. It is a fun and approachable workshop – that builds confidence and pride for students in their finished project.
Nailed It DIY Studio in Sarasota is owned and operated by Michelle Bianchi and Michelle Kenner. Together they are ready to share their ingenuity and aptitude in crafting to deliver the ultimate DIY experience for students.

Intro to Woodshop!
Grades K-2
Dive into the world of woodworking! Nailed It DIY Studio in Sarasota is a do-it-yourself (DIY) woodworking arts and craft studio. This unique, hands on and immersive field trip is perfect for K-5 students learning about the history of woodworking, how tools evolved, and how to use various modern woodworking tools safely. Basic finishing techniques, measurements and geometric reasoning will be introduced. Each student will be able to put their new skills to work with a keepsake project of their own.
