Play #1: The Velveteen Rabbit
By Patrick Flynn
Based on the book by Margery Williams
In this brand-new adaptation of The Velveteen Rabbit, Margery Williams’ classic story springs to magical life. When The Child gets The Rabbit, she is, at first, disappointed with her gift. But as the two quest and adventure through her storybooks, both Rabbit and Child grow, change, and care for each other. Over time, they discover that love is the greatest force in the universe and can make impossible things real.
Begins September 14 at Florida Studio Theatre.

Play #2: Imagination Rocks
Take the next step in the series with a play that will inspire your students to write plays of their very own! In this interactive experience, your students will learn the ingredients of a play and see a brand-new one created (using their OWN ideas) right before their eyes. More than just a performance, Imagination Rocks includes up to eight in-class workshops to get your students writing. All students are
encouraged to submit their plays to FST’s 2024 Young Playwrights Festival to be considered for a professional production in the spring.
Available to tour to your school beginning October 10.

Play #3: The Power of Peanut Butter & Other Winning Plays
Finally, your students will see the winning plays from the 2023-24 WRITE A PLAY School Year! Performed by a cast of professional actors, this original production features an anthology of stories that only children could write, filled with laughter, lessons, and learning for us all.
Begins March 29 at Florida Studio Theatre.
