Hedda Matza-Haughton, LCSW, Drama Teaching Artist

Hedda Matza-­ Haughton, LCSW, a social worker, drama teaching artist/ theatre director, has been integrating drama into her work in schools/other community settings locally and nationally for over 25 years. She founded/directed the nationally acclaimed award winning Faces, Maimonides Teen Theatre Network, and Words Not Spoken, both interactive drama education programs dealing with bullying, dating violence, abuse, and more. Hedda has a BA in Sociology/Education, Masters in Social Work, and studied improvisational drama in NYC. She is the President of ‘For the Health of It’ Consultation Services and one of the founders and current Co-Chair of Arts for Health Sarasota-Manatee.
