North Port High School Visual & Performing Arts Magnet has taken great pride in creating specialized programs in the arts areas of Visual Arts, Instrumental & Vocal Music Arts, Theatre Arts, and Dance Arts. We were named Sarasota County’s South Arts Magnet during the 2020- 2021 school year. Our staff and students have worked very hard over the last 22 years to develop strong supportive arts programs where our students continue to grow and develop their artistic self. We offer many opportunities to connect students with support and training beyond high school as they move toward finding colleges and careers.

Carnival of the Animals is a whimsical dance adventure inspired by Saint-Saëns famous classical work, composed in 1886. Enjoy each animal as they are brought to life by Saint-Saëns creative classical instrumentation, and original choreography created by our North Port High Dance Repertory students. The performance will take place on April 3, 2023 from 10-11 am. Book your seats quickly before this event fills up!
