North Port High School Visual & Performing Arts Magnet has taken great pride in creating specialized programs in the arts areas of Visual Arts, Instrumental & Vocal Music Arts, Theatre Arts, and Dance Arts. We were named Sarasota County’s South Arts Magnet during the 2020- 2021 school year. Our staff and students have worked very hard over the last 22 years to develop strong supportive arts programs where our students continue to grow and develop their artistic self. We offer many opportunities to connect students with support and training beyond high school as they move toward finding colleges and careers.

The North Port High School Theatre Department welcomes you to Wonderland! After falling asleep, Alice’s dreams she follows the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole and into the whimsical world of wonderland. Alice’s adventures are filled with fantastical characters and curious experiences as she tries to find her way back home. From a grinning Cheshire Cat to a Mad Hatter to the demanding Queen of Hearts, Lewis Carroll’s class story comes to life in all its wacky weirdness.
