North Port High School Visual & Performing Arts Magnet has taken great pride in creating specialized programs in the arts areas of Visual Arts, Instrumental & Vocal Music Arts, Theatre Arts, and Dance Arts. We were named Sarasota County’s South Arts Magnet during the 2020- 2021 school year. Our staff and students have worked very hard over the last 22 years to develop strong supportive arts programs where our students continue to grow and develop their artistic self. We offer many opportunities to connect students with support and training beyond high school as they move toward finding colleges and careers.

The Music Department at North Port High would like to invite you to a special day time concert for Elementary students in grades 3-5, on February 7th at 10:00am. This concert will feature a variety of selections from both classical and rock genres performed by our talented orchestra and commercial music students. Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Laura Hill and Commercial Music Ensembles under the directions of Ms. Shannon Clark.
