Math and Art: A Magical Pair
This workshop is available virtually or in person
With Katelyn McKelley, a Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall Teaching Artist, students will combine math and art to create Mondrian style Fibonacci artwork. Through this hands-on activity, students will explore how mathematical patterns appear in nature, as well as how they can be used to create colorful and intriguing art.

Supplies Needed:
Graph Paper (or plain, blank paper and a ruler)
Pencil
Black or dark colored marker (marker works best, but any writing utensil will work)
Blue, red, and yellow coloring utensils (markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.)
